The South Portland Elementary School Steering Committee is a newly formed group tasked with drafting a revised school reconfiguration plan to present to the school board
All meeting are open to members of the public to listen to the discussion of the Steering Committee. Meetings take place in the South Portland High School Learning Commons.
Ice Cream Social and School Information Night
Please join us on Friday, September 25 for Family Information Night and Ice Cream Social from 5:00-6:00 at Skillin!
Check out the information fair in the gym to learn more about our school-wide PBIS (Positive Behavior Support and Intervention), how Skillin Skyhawks SOAR, our Safety Response Protocol, and more.
Join the PTA for ice cream afterwards!
This will not be a time to visit your child’s classroom or meet with their teacher - there will be conferences later in the fall

Popcorn Friday
Popcorn Fridays are the best day of the month! On the first Friday of every month, the PTA provides popcorn for all Skillin students.
Can you volunteer? We always need help popping and delivering popcorn to classrooms.
An Important Note: To volunteer during the school day, you must submit a Volunteer Application with the School District each school year and complete a one time Volunteer Training. Learn more here .

Kindergarten Playground Meetup
