Volunteer Information
Interested in volunteering in the school in 2023-2024? Make sure you complete these three important steps:
EVERY SCHOOL YEAR: fill out the South Portland School Department Volunteer Registration Form. This form authorizes the school to complete a criminal background check and once approved, adds you to the SPSD Volunteer Database.
EVERY SCHOOL YEAR: fill out the Skillin PTA Volunteer Form to let us know how you would like to help this year. We’ll reach out with opportunities!
ONE TIME: attend a SPSD Volunteer Training Session. SPSD will hold a 30 minute training session at Skillin before our next PTA meeting on Thursday, 9/28 at 5:30 in the Skillin Library.
Can’t make this training session? No problem! Sessions are held throughout the school year. Contact us or Bryna Latham at lathambr@spsdme.org for info on additional training sessions.
