We’re a community of parents, teachers, and staff working together to make Waldo T. Skillin Elementary in South Portland, Maine the best it can be for our kids. From planning fun family events to organizing fundraisers and supporting enrichment projects, the PTA helps our students and school community thrive.

Volunteer Opportunities
Friday, 11/7 | Popcorn Friday | 1 hour blocks, 9:30-12:30. Help us pop and deliver popcorn to all classes
Friday, 11/21 | Family Game Night | 1/2 hour blocks, 5:30-8:0. Help us set up, run an activity, host the cupcake walk, keep and eye on games, or clean up.
Friday, 12/5 | Popcorn Friday | 1 hour blocks, 9:30-12:30. Help us pop and deliver popcorn to all classes
Are You Approved to Volunteer?
If you would like to volunteer in the school during the school day or chaperone a field trip, you must complete 2 steps with the school district:
One time: Watch and then take the volunteer training video and quiz
Every year: Complete the Annual Registration Form
